How A. A. DiMatteo Insurance Service Center Came To Be

Anthony DiMatteo began his insurance career in 1955 with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He became an Independent Agent in 1959, locating to East Main Street, Bridgeport, CT and expanded to larger offices on Huntington Turnpike in 1970. In 1975, the Agency became the A. A. DiMatteo Insurance Service Center when Mrs. Adeline DiMatteo joined the firm. The business evolved into a total family operation in the mid 1980s and 90s. The Agency moved to 5767 Main Street, Trumbull, CT in 1993. On January 1, 2004, the Agency made another move to its present location at 79 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT. The DiMatteo Insurance Service Center services include: Personal, Commercial, Life & Health Insurance, Financial Planning Services and Tax Preparation.
