DiMatteo Insurance Service Center hires Murphy as personal-lines account manager

SHELTON, CONN. - The DiMatteo Insurance Service Center recently hired Jennifer Murphy of Brookfield, Conn., as a personal-lines account manager for its personal-lines department.

With more than 20 years of customer service experience in the industry, Murphy acts as a liaison for customers of DiMatteo's personal-lines business. She assists clients with all issues related to billing, coverage, claims and endorsements. Additionally, she directs clients in making appropriate coverage changes, recommending suitable products as necessary and ensuring that customers have the most up-to-date information available to them.

Prior to joining the agency, Murphy was assistant customer service representative for Davidson Insurance Services, Danbury, Conn., where she assisted in adding new lines of business to existing clients and handled personal lines claims, billing inquiries and a number of other administrative duties.

Murphy also worked in customer service at the Devoe Agency and the Dackson-Van Ess Agency, which were both acquired by Davidson Insurance Services.
