Local Foundation and Company Organizes 11th Annual Easter Basket Drive

The DiMatteo Charitable Foundation in collaboration with DiMatteo Insurance in Shelton recently participated in the Easter Basket Drive for Homeless Children and delivered close to 75 baskets to four different homeless and domestic violence centers in the region.

For the past 11 years, Kim Marie DiMatteo of Bethany, Vice President of DiMatteo Insurance, has been organizing this annual Easter basket drive for children. This year deliveries were made to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center of Norwalk, the Norwalk Emergency Shelter, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center Stamford, and St. Luke's LifeWorks in Stamford.

Celebrating the success of this community service project are the following Bethany residents pictured left to right: Jessica DiMatteo in the front row at left, along with Lucy Caruso, behind her, Angelo Proto, Anthony DiMatteo, and Kim Marie DiMatteo, Vice President of DiMatteo Insurance in Shelton, who organized this worthwhile volunteer project.
